Happy Easter

We had a really nice Easter.

I am on vacation from work now! I am off for 3 days, Friday thru Tuesday! So much needed break. This week is Spring Break, too. We are not going anywhere though.

T didn't have to work on Friday, either! We colored eggs on Fri. and used the glitter egg kit plus the regular tablets.

Fun family time...

Ethan woke me up at 6:51am to say that the Easter bunny came and hid eggs downstairs. I got up and let him find them all. The bunny hid his Easter basket in the kitchen really well and I had to point out that maybe he left though the garage so he would look towards that door.

Then at church on Sunday morning...E with his cousins in their Easter outfits.

We went to my parents at noon for lunch. My mom had her egg hunt again this year. Ethan got to look for yellow eggs this year, she went out and got more yellow for this year. In the past he looked for purple eggs. My mom knows his love for yellow so had to get them for this year. Matthew gets green eggs, Amanda gets pink, of course!

We had ham, green beans, broccoli casserole (I made), scalloped potatoes, deviled eggs, orange/carrot jello salad, rolls, salad.

Then we celebrated my dad's birthday that was the day prior. Happy 67th Birthday, Father!

Matthew ate so many grapes that day, had to take a pic of him walking around eating them off the stem. I guess he had never done that before.

Then we went to T's parents around 3pm for another dinner. T's brother was in AZ this year, so just us with A. Dorthy. He noticed there was another egg hunt there, too!

He found his hidden Easter basket and another Build-a-Bear, the Happy Chick. He was so excited to see that chick. They just got it unstuffed, they like to take him there and let him do all the stations. T & I have never been there with him. He has 3 BuildABears, now!

Opening up the eggs, they put 2-4 quarters in each!

We brought this cute bunny cake...so much icing on it!

Fun filled day on Easter! I was so exhausted. I actually went to bed before 10pm!
