Are you wearing GREEN today? I'm wearing a pale green sweater, E wore green hooded sweatshirt from gymboree today to preschool.
I remember when growing up my dad saying we should wear orange instead of green, since we are Protestant and not Catholic. I guess that goes way way back. More fun to wear green, right?

I always think of my friend, Jean, on St. Patrick's Day. It is her favorite day of the year. I always send her a card or ecard on this day. I just sent the perfect one for her, found it at Hallmark, tried to capture it above. She loves Ireland, has been at least 4 times now. Here is a toast to Jean...
Have a green beer for me tonight! I don't think we are getting out tonight!
T's foot is hurt again. He stepped on a rock and twisted ankle. He has high tolerance for pain, so it must be bad. He has been icing it and using a crutch to get around the house.
Friday night - out to eat at The Circle & watched the Purdue game, which was really exciting, but they lost to Illini!
Saturday -I finally got out our Easter decorations. I didn't decorate for St. Patrick's Day, like I have in past. I just put up window clings on back doors. I need to take pics of our Easter decor. I made display above entertainment center again this year. Not sure if I will do an Easter egg tree yet. I still need to remove the red bows from the back yard bushes!
Sunday -we had a basketball banquet that was really nice. Ethan went to T's parents. It was C's birthday. I got her a spring sweater from CJ Banks. She seemed to like it. She brought out a green necklace that she bought and was wanting to match something with & it seems to go with the new sweater. E gave her a new '5' stepping stone. Our annual gift to her is a handprint stepping stone of E. I usually decorate it in some way, but write in the age and his name. She puts them all out in order in their landscaping areas. We had cake that Poppy got them...

E got another gift from them- Diego game for his Smart Cycle.
