We didn’t color eggs until Saturday. E had a fever for 3 days, Fri-Mon. When I was getting everything ready for coloring eggs he was standing next to me shivering! Oh, knew he had a fever again. We kept giving him children’s tylenol and that brought it down. It was odd, he didnt have a cold and he wasnt complaining at all and didnt look tired.
Our eggs weren’t too amazing since we forgot the vinegar again. When using just water with the tablets the yellow and orange are pointless, they just do not dye the egg.
Need to remember the vinegar for next year!
Ethan woke me up at like 6:15 on Easter Sunday asking if he could look for eggs. This year the Easter bunny left him a note saying he hid 21 eggs around our house.
Eggs are always left inside our house, it is still cold at Easter where we live. He had fun and found all the eggs.
E with his basket of goodies.
We went to church, the first service as normal.
Then we went to T’s parents around 1:30pm. There was an egg hunt outside at their house this year and the bunny left him 21 eggs there, too! (funny!)
C still makes up Easter baskets for all of us and this year she put in silly string, in various colors. E and the boys had fun with it and it got all over her living room!
Uncle D and E playing with their napkin rings!
I brought the choc chip cheesecake bars and the choc nests.
We went to my parent’s house at 4:30. I brought various types of rolls and the little nests. Their egg hunt was inside and E looked for 10 yellow eggs, the cousins had their own colors. This always works out nicely.
my parents with their grandkids My new fav pic of the cousins together…so cute!
My fam on Easter at my parents
My mom got the kids these little teddy bears that had a hoodie with a picture of the 3 of them. She ordered it from Snapfish.
Then another meal of ham… the kids got the cute lil choc cake eggs.
On Monday I went to Target to see if they had any Easter decor half off, but I went to late and nothing worthwhile was left. I just got T some Cadbury eggs. We have sooo much candy now in our house. Not good for my diet!
