Getting ready for Easter at our house. I took Fri and Mon off of work.
Today I bought 2 dozen eggs and boiled 1 dozen. We will color them tomorrow. I want to make these neat choc nests
and add in peanut m&ms as eggs. Hopefully it will be fun to make with E.
We have 2 Easter dinners to attend. This year we will go to T’s parents first at 2pm then my parents around 4:30pm. I am making these choc. chop cheesecake bars for first dinner then I’m just bringing 3 types of rolls & the nests for the 2nd.

These faux chocolate bunnies are my new fave. I found the smaller one last year at the Dollar Tree and the larger one this year at Joann’s half off.
Hoping for Spring to come our way!! It actually snowed last Sunday here…in April. My poor tulips. I made a comment about them to E the other day and he told me I should have covered them. How does he know I should have done that? That kid, huh. It should be in the 50s this weekend.
Poor Ethan was running a fever today. We were playing MarioKart, my new fav wii game, and he said he wanted to rest a little and his head hurt. He is always really honest when he doesnt feel right. I took his temp and it was 99.8. I got him a cold wash cloth for his head, my thing he actually likes now. He never really fell asleep. An hour or 2 later we went upstairs and I was on laptop and he fell asleep for around an hr. When he woke up he still seemed out of it, but I thought he just wanted to sleep more. He was just too quiet and just laying around watching tv, so I took his temp again. It was 102.9! Wow, yeah. I got the children’s tylenol and some oj for him super fast! This all happened right when T was coming home for the day.
I took his temp before 9pm as he went to bed and it was at 99.1. Hopefully he feels better tomorrow.
