VBS was early this year

Ethan went to VBS again this year, June 28-July 2. It was called Son Rock Kids Camp. Each group got to wear a bandana in their groups’ color. He was in Purple Bears. I think he thought it was neat and like Survivor!

His cousin was in the same group with him this year.

     On the last day was a program and it was run much better this year. It was crazy hair day that day and T did Ethan’s hair & I thought it was pretty cute! The skits & singing went quicker this year, then we got to eat.

Next was a presentation from Amazon John. I wasn’t expecting much more than a guy showing off some animals, but he was really impressive. He was a great speaker and really kept everyone’s interest and SO funny! I loved his facial expressions. He had a baby alligator, a vulture, a toad, a bunny, a python, some roaches and a skunk-that was destunkified or didn’t this stink stuff removed. I don’t know, he explained it.

 

Then they got to line up to pet some of the animals. E touched the snake!

Trent built a washer game this week. I think he wanted it done in time for 4th of July festivities. Ethan I guess was helping him some.
