He has risen! He has risen, indeed!
Our Easter Sunday was hectic, as usual. Ethan woke me up prior to searching for his eggs the Easter bunny left for him.
We went to church, Ethan went to Sunday school. After church I needed to get home to make up the broccoli casserole for my parent’s lunch.
My dad had to work at 2:30 so my mom had our dinner at noon. She planned an egg hunt for the kids. Ethan had a tough time finding his, but I think she made it harder since they are older.
Then our annual group pics…
I got my hair chopped off the day before…pretty drastic for me
I brought my rice krispie treat suckers and my mom had a lot of choices for dessert..yummers!
My mom got all the kids hula hoops!
They loved them – more room to play with them outside. They all really kept at it.
Next we went to Trent’s parents for dinner.
But first was another egg hunt. They had it outside again this year, which was so fun for E. We really gave him a ton a hints, some were pretty tough to find.
and there was a purple one hidden in the middle of those purple flowers-I didn’t even see it!
We had fried chicken and ham and I brought brownies.
A very nice Easter with our families and some great food.
