Wedding weekend

So Trent was in a wedding on Sat. his college buddy, that was in our wedding 11 yrs. ago. Kevin and Liza had a lovely wedding day.

IMG_0386We left early early Saturday morning, like in the car by 6:40am. It was down in Brookville, we stayed in Batesville, reception was in Guilford and they were all basically 30 min apart. The wedding started at 1:30, which was 12:30 our time and then T needed to be there an hour prior since we was an usher. We got there right at 12:30.

We thought Brookville felt like Hobart. The downtown area really resembled it, but I’m sure the population was way less.

Ethan was good at the church, for the most part.

and then had use the bathroom during the ceremony, but luckily T went to the back since he had to do his dismissing duties soon after.IMG_0382

Ethan and I waited outside and he created his own ‘boutonniere’ a word I don’t think he really knew before this weekend.

IMG_0389  i love how put it in his little button hole, too! IMG_0388

by this time I let him take off the tie… IMG_0387

We used Dave’s tomtom, plus I had printed up some directions in the different combos. The tomtom gps sent us through some back roads, I guess it was the quickest route. They route we took from church back to hotel was super curvy and hilly, but was neat.  IMG_0378 IMG_0379 IMG_0380

The reception was at a winery and again, used the tomtom and thought we were lost but then just ended up and found it.

We asked someone to take our pic. IMG_0391 IMG_0392 IMG_0395

We sat with another family with 3 kids, I guess Liza used to be their babysitter. Ethan hit it off with the 2 little ones and was even dancing with them later.

Ethan was happy he got to go swimming on Sunday morning at the hotel and have the breakfast buffet. I missed both and slept in.

On the way home we stopped in Lafayette to eat lunch. I wanted to go to the McDonald’s diner, a sit down service diner that we saw on the travel channel. We couldn’t find it so we ate at Fazoli’s since it has been forever since we had it. Googled that mcd’s once at home and found out it they changed it way back in 2004! Way for the updated program on unique McDonalds there Travel Channel!
