Ethan was on fall break Oct. 28 thru Oct. 31, so I took off Monday, Halloween day. I still had to fix his costume on Monday. We went out to a Dollar Tree and they only had 2 glow necklaces, and not in matching colors. We made a trip out to Party City and wow was it crazy busy in there on Halloween. They had several sets of glow sticks, necklaces and bracelets still available. They had assorted colors of necklaces and then I got some sets of just orange bracelets.
Juliet, Darth Vader, light up stick figure this year
Halloween always is so hectic trying to stay with the schedule. We met at my parents at 4pm
I was in process of adding the orange glow necklaces and bracelets here. I had sticky black tape that worked great. family friends Conards
Then back at home right at 5pm to trick or treat around our house, with neighbor across the street…
then at 5:30 we headed over to cousins to go trick or treating with them in their neighborhood. I thought it would be more fun for E to go with others this year. Plus their neighborhood is huge with tons of kids! We went around there for an hour.the boys saw a classmate so I had them all pose for a pic.
this house had Star Wars cut outs and then the guy gave them toothbrushes!
I was amazed by the amount of houses that sat outside with a firepit handing out candy.
then end the night with T’s parents and see their neighbors
took a pic of him in the car since he was glowing so awesomely….
our house lit up for Halloween and we added orange and purple lights to the bush in the front window
T carved all our pumpkins, E drew what he wanted and I chose the ‘trick or treat’. T had to work and I was worried he wouldn’t be home to pass out candy. He got home around 5:10 before any kids came to our house.
