Last week T took E to get his haircut. Last time they just went to F.Sams instead of the usual salon lady and it went fine. Same normal haircut as usual and much cheaper at FSams.
Well, T called me at work and said "What a GD nightmare!" (then I heard E say that same line asking "What is a GD nightmare?")
HE told the girl to cut the sides with a 2 and longer on top. Well, I guess she asked "Clippers all around?" but T didn't answer her or hear her? He goes to sit down and hears the clippers buzzing. Then he sees her swipe off the top of his hair!! He exclaims, "What are you doing!?His hair has never been this short!" Ethan is sitting there with a reverse mohawk, of sorts, at this point. The girl proceeds to just 'buzz' it off. She said that next time he should say scissors on top and T said, "I don't think there will be a next time"
I mean T didn't explain it enough, but he did explain it in detail. If he wanted a BUZZ CUT for him, THAT IS WHAT HE WOULD HAVE SAID! I mean, isn't that pretty universal cut style-simple buzz cut.
I was really expecting something really drastic. I went to pick him up after work from Mrs. F and told myself to not freak out.

It is the shortest I have seen it, he has no bangs, but it could be much worse.
Mrs. F LOVES his hair! She was really really gushing over him saying he looks soooo cute!
Ethan is fine with the new summer buzz cut, even after T's freak out! I'm happy about that, at least.
We got our new coffee table!! Love it! Ethan loves eating at it now with me.
Here he is Sat. morning eating his breakfast.

I gave him Kix cereal to help him 'Kick' at his soccer game that morning. I'm getting wise to phrase stuff like that with him. Believe me, he wouldn't have tried to eat any of it if I didn't.
Here is what the table looks like with the cool lift top. It is soooo BIG & takes up a lot of our little living room, though.

After soccer we ran our errands-Meijer for impatiens & petunias. I let E browse in toy aisle. I let him pick out a fun summer water toy. We almost got a crazy sprinkler, but decided on a slip & slide-on sale for $8!

I was proud of myself for hooking it all up alone. T was gone most of the day with baseball.
He was afraid of the water squirting out too high. At one point, Ashton walked over and took a drink from the pool area-so funny!
So happy we have nice weather in 70s & 80s this week! T gets to play golf on Thurs & Fri! I'm going to take Friday off.
