Fun food time

Last month Ethan mentioned that he wanted to have the meal with the plate layers or something like that. I figured out that he was talking about my appetizer meal I make on New Year’s Eve. So funny and cute that he recalled it, and I love it now that he is older!

I decided to do up some fun appetizers for the big Purdue vs Notre Dame game. I was excited to use my new server I got from Target. Love it! All the appetizers were from a box, but I did put some grapes, carrots and cheese on the top plate. E said he loved it.  He knows how to make me happy now, what a sweet kid. IMG_8381 IMG_8380

The game did not have a good outcome for the Boilers. At all.  The whole family watched the game on the hi-def tv downstairs. I hardly ever watch tv downstairs, so it was a big deal.

I found a recipe for a taco ring and tried it. At least I enjoyed it, the boys didn’t think it was anything great.

Doesn’t it look neat? It was fun to compile, too! IMG_8373

It has taco meat with onion, then refried beans, cheese and then croissant triangles. I think it was 2 tubes of croissants.IMG_8376 IMG_8377 IMG_8379
